bathtub bubble mat
Toddlers swimming can be a fun and easy. It is important to keep your toddler clean and healthy. Swimming is an essential element of this. My boy has always liked to take a bath since he was born. Most toddlers look at the date of Bath as a moment of fun to play. They do not realize not at the same time their tiny bodies are beautiful and clean:)
There are some toddlers who do not take a bath. The good news is that this may change during this stage of toddlers and they could begin to love bath time. Until then just the name of the game is to use distraction. Here a list of some distractions you can try to make fun bath time for your toddler and easier for you.
Some big distractions that can be used are:
1. Bubbles. It is a given. Every toddler loves bubbles. Use their body wash baby the bubble bath. Never use bubble bath or shampoo regularly. It may hurt their little eyes or skin. Only use the same commands that you wash with their small bodies. Just a few bubbles makes all the difference. This makes them laugh and entertain.
2. Toys. All bath toys are fun toddler when bathing. Especially those who are filled with water and squirt the water back. My son was so tickled when I threw return water to him. You can buy toys and keep them specifically "Tubby Time." Boats and duckies are classic and always a success with any child. It is so funny because my son is 3 now and bath time, he has more toys in the bathtub water. (This is just a figure of speech LOL). You see my point he has learned to love his toys in the bathtub with him. It makes it fun for them and especially if your child is uncomfortable taking a bath.
3. Paintings & Bath Bath Chalk. They are really good, but we do not use every day. They are fun, but can sometimes be a little messy. You can designate one day a week to chalk and paint. It is fun for them to draw on the sides of the tub or shower walls.
You also have to remember to take safety precautions at all times your child takes a bath. They are very very important to ensure their safety at all times while in the bathtub.
1. Water temperature. I can not stress this enough. Always test the water before you put your toddler in the tub. Use warm water. It should not be hot for you. Remember when toddler swimming you can not bathe the child in the same temperature of the water you use in May It can burn. Children are sensitive to hot water. My son loves the spa water to be a little on the cold side. So be cautious and be careful when choosing the proper water temperature.
2. Water Level. There should be a few inches of water in the bathtub. This is all that is necessary. Toddlers can potentially drown in a small amount of water so be careful and judge appropriate.
3. NEVER leave your child unattended in the bathtub even for a second.
4. Never allow your child to stand in the bathtub during bathing hours.
5. Invest in the nozzles and a bathmat. The cops are fantastic! They focus on the spout and hot and cold water. This way, if your toddler hits their head the beak is covered and they are less likely to be injured. Also the buttons with hot water and cold, they will not be able to open water by accident. Prevention is the key. Make sure you have a child friendly bath mat in the bottom of the tub also prevent them from slipping.
Another thing I would like to share on other additional elements that are important to take bathe toddlers.
1. Toddler Soap. Baby use to clean their bodies and hair. My toddler is 3 and I still use baby wash when bathing him. It's great because the laundry did not hurt the eyes and he washes his hair as the same time. This way, you only need to buy a product instead of two. Soap Bath Adult also tends to dry out the skin so just stick with the baby wash. Plus, you can use even for washing baby bubbles in the Tubby. You see wash baby is the best and has so many great uses!
2. Infantile cloths. My son is 3 years old and I still use the baby wipes. I love them. They are thinner and great to use. I always use two wash cloths, toddler when bathing. One I use to wash his face with his hands and body. The other I use to wash the buttocks and private areas. This is a personal choice just remember if you use one washcloth only wash their face first and bottom last.
3. Nail Brush. Dirt can accumulate under the nail and it is great to wash all the germs away. The cleanliness and health go hand in hand to keep nails clean is important.
4. Towels for toddlers. Towels with hoods on them are great! You can wrap them after they did and their whole body is covered. Then you can dry them well and they are ready to go! I bought lots of these towels and they are Nice!
It is important to set your personal routine when it comes toddler bathing. Always remember safety. Make it fun for them. before you and I know they'll love bath time.
