bathtub stopper stuck
Bathtub drain plunger stuck in the pipe …?
So the house is only 20 years but the home inspector found The bathtub drain plug was "stuck". There isn't really a huge deal, we just had a rubber stopper to Overtop. But nastly they get really fast, so I thought Id fix it. I removed the plate that holds the overflow switch and tried to snatch the piston housing. It does not budge. Ive tried WD40 and some other stuff Home Depot recommended, but no luck. There is no access panel. HELP!
Sounds like you have a plumber cut an access panel. The good news is that it can fix the plug when he is there to do it not recur. I never understood why so many houses are built without access panels (including mine) because sooner or later we will need to enter.
