Bathroom faucet is leaking?
I need to know how to disassemble a bathtub faucet shower so I can replace the seat. This one hot water valve. There is a screw in the middle of the handle, which does not seem to allow anything to stand out. What should I do to dissasemble the tap?
I think there is a cover for the screw tap handle.Pry unscrew it carefully.The taking the handle is of type Philips and more. If it is rusty apply a penetrating oil or similar. Then, with sudden force of the valve on the screw while turning if it is difficult to remove. Note: Cut the supply water before starting scalding.Drain work.Avoid hot water until nothing comes out of this line in particular. Be careful!
